WHAT: SCYD April Meeting

We held our first meeting last month. We discussed our mission, vision, and goals. We formed our four standing committees and now, as they say in Saratoga, “we’re off to the races”.
This meeting will be held at Parting Glass in Saratoga Springs, NY, which should provide more relaxed atmosphere, kind of like a “meet and greet” or “happy hour” event. We’re pleased to announce that this meeting with feature TWO special guest speakers, City of Saratoga Springs Mayor Joanne Yepsen and City Court Judge Francine Vero! Mayor Yepsen will be discussing the political landscape and how the Young Dems can help Democrats prosper in the County, while Judge Vero will be speaking about her experience as City Court Judge. We’ll also hear from our executive board on overall progress, discuss and (maybe even adopt) our Constitution, as well as get an update from our committees.
We have a lot planned for 2017, and there is plenty of opportunity to get involved to any degree in which you feel comfortable. No spoilers here, though – we’ll see you on April 27!
