Vision, Mission, Objectives


The Saratoga County Democratic Committee is a diverse and dynamic force from every Village, Town, and City in Saratoga County. We bring the values of the Democratic Party to our local community, and develop leaders and elected officials to influence state and national policy.


To strengthen the bonds of our diverse community, increase our visibility, and do good in the county. To build and support the political capabilities within villages, towns and cities to elect Democratic officials at every level.

Democratic Values

We believe that our community prospers when we prioritize a shared set of values that include (but are not limited to):

  • An equitable economy that ensures job growth and sustainability, and reduces income inequality
  • Liberty, fairness, and the opportunity to pursue happiness

Objective 1: Support our Villages, Towns, Cities, and County<br />
  • Increase by five the number of active town and city Democratic Committees in Saratoga County by the November 2018 elections
  • Hold quarterly social or networking events at Village, Town or County levels
Objective 2: Strengthen our County Committee<br />
  • Establish standing committees that organize to uphold democratic values in our communities
  • The Democratic County Committee should reflect county demographics
  • Establish relationships with local groups and organizations that support our values
  • Fundraising: Each year, raise 25% over prior year
Objective 3: Build the Pipeline to support the National Democratic Party<br />
  • Increase Democratic Party enrollment in Saratoga County 2% per year until 2020
  • Run a full slate in every election on the local and state level with the goal of increasing the number of Democratic elected officials
