RESOLUTION BY SARATOGA COUNTY DEMOCRATIC COMMITTEE:
That the Democratic Party and the United States of America owes the deepest gratitude to President Joseph R. Biden Jr. for his exemplary service. In the history of our country, few candidates for any office could be said to have earned and deserved election more than President Biden. Further, we thank President Biden for the historic and landmark accomplishments that he achieved for the greater good throughout his career in public service. Above all, we thank our president for putting the interests of our nation ahead of his own, and selflessly choosing to step aside from his campaign for a second term as our Commander in Chief.
We are grateful for all the leaders in our State and National Democratic Party who have the vision and courage which helped our party choose a winning path forward for this election. We believe this path is one that will ensure success for the Democratic Party and the American People.
The future of democracy, fundamental American freedoms, and the rule of law are all at stake now more than ever. In this critical moment, we are fortunate to have the Harris/Walz team ready to lead our Democratic Party ready to advance a clear vision for an America that works for everyone and the proven ability to make that vision a reality.
