On a beautiful, sunny Saturday afternoon, the residents of Saratoga Springs celebrated the slowly beginning fall season along with a special guest who came up to support our local democrats in the upcoming November 7th election. Democratic Representative Paul Tonko visited the Saratoga Springs Democratic Committee at the annual Saratoga Springs Fall Festival and was joined by candidates, local leaders and community members. Posing for pictures with current Mayor Joanne Yepson and the group, Representative Tonko expressed his support of this year’s slate of Democratic candidates. Sharing the spotlight were Mayoral candidate, Meg Kelly, Town Supervisor candidates Pat Friesen and Tara N. Gaston and candidate for Commissioner for Public Safety, Peter Martin.
“As long as I’ve known and worked with Meg, she’s demonstrated a commitment to the success of Saratoga Springs, its heritage and its people in every corner of our community. Her record of enhancing public service, caring for our most vulnerable citizens, and working to complete beautiful projects like the Greenbelt Trail make her uniquely qualified to serve as mayor,” said Congressman Paul D. Tonko.
